Microscopes

2015 saw an explosion of interest in microscopes, partly thanks to the UN's International Year of Light.

Hagaberg's Global profil class are one of many groups of students around the world who are experimenting with microscopes.

We used 2 methods. The first was very simple - shining a laser pointer through a drop of water so that a magnified image is projected onto a screen behind the water drop. The second method was more complex. Using a design by Kenji Yoshino, we built our own microscopes to use with camera equipped smartphones and other devices.
